Issuing a First Time Passport (Temporary) for Gaza Strip People 
Target Group  People of Gaza Strip 
Service Locations  Gaza and West Bank Civil Status and Passports Department  
Terms of Service   1.     The applicant shouldn’t be a holder of any nationality, passport, or travel documents, or added to a non-Jordanian travel document. 
2.     The applicant should submit his application in person at the Gaza Passports Office. 
3.     The consent of the father/guardian for minor children who are under 18 years old. 
Required Documents to Obtain the Service  1.     Passport application form. 
2.     Father’s passport to prove that one of the family members has a temporary passport for the Gaza Strip People. 
3.     The passport, if he is added to the passport of one of his parents with the personal number written on it. 
4.     Proof identity of the applicant. 
5.     Mother’s passport, or the document she holds. 
6.     A birth certificate. 
7.     Explanations issued from the Follow-up and Inspection Department.  
8.     Approval of Security Authorities.  
9.     Proof of residency. 
10.            Certificate of non-conviction from the specialized court for those 16 years old and above.  
11.            Color personal photos (2).  
Service Procedures 
1.     Present the required documents to be audited and attested, and fill in the application form of obtaining temporary passport and take a number by the Gaza Passports Office.  
2.     Approve the application by the Secretary Office or his assistant. 
3.     Match and audit the information with the application and accept them by the Application Acceptance Officer. 
4.     Address security authorities to approve the issuance of the passport. 
5.     Refer to the Acceptance Officer if the approval to issue the passport has been received.  
6.     Pay legal fees to the Treasurer.  
7.     Refer the application to the Issuance Section. 
8.     Refer the application to the Archiving Section. 
9.     Refer the application to the Printing Section.  
10.            Hand over the passport to the service recipient after handing the financial receipt to the Delivery Officer. 
Time Needed for the Service  45 minutes + 14 days for receiving security approval.

Notes   1. In case any member of the family doesn’t have a passport or a residence card, the applicant should present the following documents:  
-         Displacement certificate from the Borders and Residence Directorate / Public Security, stating that the concerned person is displaced. 
-         Proof of residency from 1974 until the date of the application.  
Fees  JD 100 for a passport valid for two years.
