Issue and Renew Passports to Encourage Investments  
Target Group   Special cases of people and investors living inside the Kingdom  
Service Locations  Offices of Civil Status and Passports Department/ Special Passports Directorate 
Terms of Service  1.     The presence of the person concerned in person.  
2.     An approval letter from the Ministry of Interior and security authorities.  
3.     The applicant should have a personal number issued from the Boarders and Residence Directorate for foreigners who are not holders of temporary Jordanian documents.  
Required Documents to Obtain the Service   1.     Passport application form. 
2.     Proof of identity of the service recipient. 
3.     A birth certificate.  
4.     A letter from the Ministry of Interior and approval of the Council of Ministers of Jordan. 
5.     Color personal photos (2). 
Service Procedures  
1.     Fill in the special application form which is prepared for this purpose. 
2.     Match the information with the application and accept it according to the procedures by the Acceptance Officer/ Special Office Directorate. 
3.     Check the application’s attachments, a letter from the Minister of Interior that includes security approvals to issue the passport. 
4.     Pay legal fees to the Treasurer.  
5.     Refer the application to the Issuance Section, to enter the new issuance data. 
6.     Refer the application to the Archiving Section. 
7.     Attach the passport with the application to the Printing Section.  
8.     Hand over the passport to the service recipient after handing the financial receipt to the Delivery Officer.

Fees   -         JD 2500 for first time issuance. 
-         JD 2500 for renewal. 
-         JD 5000 for renewal if the passport is still valid.  
-         JD 2500 for replacement of damaged passport.  
-         JD 2500 for loss replacement for the first time. 
-         JD 5000 for loss replacement each time after the first loss replacement  
    JD 6000 if the passport was renewed by another person. 
  -  JD 400 for issuance of a separate passport for the spouse or a child of the passport holder. 
  -  JD 400 for renewing an expired or valid passport, or replacement of a damaged passport for the spouse or child of the passport holder. 
  -  JD 500 for first-time loss replacement for the passport of the wife or child of the passport holder. 
  -  JD 1000 for issuing loss replacement for the first time for the passport of the wife or child of the passport holder. 
  -  JD 750 for renewing the passport of the wife or child of the passport holder, if presented to the Department by other than its holder.
